What Does an O-Shot® Consultation Involve?
An O-Shot® consultation at Skin Art MD in Burnaby (Metrotown) is a private conversation with a physician about your concerns, your health history and whether PRP is worth considering. The physician explains that evidence is limited, outlines the risks, and may suggest other assessments first.
Many concerns, such as urinary leakage, dryness or discomfort, have causes that should be assessed medically, including hormonal change and pelvic floor problems. If PRP is considered appropriate, a blood sample is taken and processed in a centrifuge, and the PRP is injected after topical numbing. Appointments take about 60–75 minutes in total.
